Q. Are there additional costs?
A. On a typical transaction, the only additional costs are government registration and taxes (GST/PST).
In Nova Scotia, migration fees of $300-$400 will be added for properties yet to be migrated into the electronic registry system.
Occasionally, some transactions may require additional services that would not normally be part of the typical transaction. Should additional services or disbursements be required, the assigned member lawyer will discuss the nature of the required service with your client along with any associated fees prior to undertaking the additional work.
